    Emails to Customers

    V9

We're finding a lot of people aren't receiving our emails sent from within the Orders Tab / select customer / Mail.
Mostly it seems the emails are ending up in spam folders or being blocked as spam - most likely due to the somewhat convoluted and spam-alerting text that Actinic automatically enters into the Subject box of the email:
e.g: Company name : Order MM41PW10000738 : Order Received Email.

    two questions -
is there a way of changing the default subject line contents to something we want?
is it possible to specifiy an automatic email address to be entered into the CC: box?

    Thanks
    Kind Regards

    Hi Sean

I'm trying to edit the subject field as well today to make it a bit more user friendly but I've not yet worked out how to do so! I have looked in the help section and it states that the subject field is editable but then fails to let you know how to do it! I've looked in design text, I've looked at the email edit section and I've looked int he library to see if there was something there. As yet I'm little help but I'll let you know if I find anything! If you don't find this text in the interface in the normal places, you can normally place a large bet on it being entrenched in the script that does the actions on that page.

Ooer - that sounds like messing with perl files?
Haven't done any of that up to now
        Kind Regards

It seems you can change the company name part easily (but who is going to do that?); you can change the "Order ###########" in the perl scripts ; you can create new emails with different titles (subject suffix), but you can't change the naff default email "Order Number Email"
