Buy one get one free - BOGOF

HI,

I am trying to set up Buy One Get One Free in v9.05 and every time I change the dropdown to quantity it keeps saying please enter number. I do this and click apply and it keeps asking me for Please enter number. I have seen the KB and tried it but to no avail. Should I be doing something else.
