    Automated Emails Filtered as Spam

Does anyone else have a high volume shop who gets a lot of customers saying that they never received email order notifications (from Actinic) for their orders?

I can only think that that a lot of our shops automated emails are getting put in spam folders? We reckon its as much as 10% of customers not getting their automated emails delivered to their in-tray.

Can anyone suggest a route to explore or solution?

If customers can't set their spam filters to accept genuine mail, then that's their look out.

However, the usual reason why they don't get their order confirmation emails is simply because they close their browser at the receipt stage rather than clicking "Done" or whatever you have changed this text to.

    Again, that's their problem.

Customer don't have to click the the 'done' button to get the email but they do have to return to the receipt page. In many cases, particularly with paypal, they don't do this.

Actinic are aware of the issue and are seeing if they can inlude the fix in V10. For earlier versions the only thing you can do is try and get them to return to the website after paying. Something that can help is making the text at the psp's site more relevant.

Thanks guys, its not really the customers fault if they don't follow a set sequence of actions to trigger an email, more a software issue - hopefully that will be addressed with version 10.
