Meanings of .pl files in analytics

Is there a list somewhere of the purpose of the various perl scripts?

sh999.pl
os999.pl
ss999.pl

etc? So, when they appear in analytics, I know what they're for. I haven't yet got round to any more complex analytics stuff (tracking goals, etc).
