Restricting Access to areas of your site based on user accounts

Hi there

In V9, is it possible to restrict access to certain areas of your site or display additional product information based on a customer account type.

Eg:
General Public customer group ( and/or non registered customers) can see some products.
and Wholesale customer group (and/or registered customers) can see public's products and more, with additional information or images for products that are also available for public viewing.
