standard discount list not displaying for product duplicates

Hi,

I've created a discount for a product. The discount displays fine in the main product but doesn't display in product duplicates. I have to re-create a duplicate from the main product after setting up the discount in order for it to work.

Is there any way to get the duplicates to automatically pick up the discounts without having to reset the duplicate?
