    Erratic Google E-Commerce Reports

    Hi,

I'm relatively new to E-commerce and Google Analytics and thought I had it working OK. However, I've checked my sales against Google Analytics and found that Google doesn't 'catch' all the products I've sold. The results seem to be erratic i.e. it's not just always just the first product of the order it records and ignores the rest. Sometimes it records more than one product in the order sometimes none at all.
If Google analytics actually records a product it always gets the quantity and price right. As an estimate it's 'missing' over 60% of my sales!!

Any advice as to where to start would be appreciated.

    Regards

    Adrian

I've found all sorts of weird things with analytics. One of them being that, if someone visits my site via a keyword, then everytime they come back, even if it's direct, it still shows them as having come via the keyword. I suspect it's something to do with cookies.

Is it missing complete orders or parts of an order? If it's the later I find that very strange

Yes, it's missing parts of an order which I thought was very stange. Would it be possible / advisable to remove the Google code from my site and reapply it?
