Upload problem

Hi there,

Anyone ever seen a problem with the upload, when the section tree, clears and then the mouse just flicks between the hour class and the cursor, and nothing really happens ? just flicks away for an hour ...

We'll need a little more info than that I'm afraid Austin.

Have you Compacted the databases?

Have you tried a Refresh rather than a publish?

Have you changed the Script ID?

Have you Purged and Refreshed from the Troubleshooting menu?

Have you delete files from the server via ftp then Purged and refreshed?

Have you rebooted Actinic?

These are the things I do when faced with any upload issue and more often then not one of them will work.

If it still doesn't work, roll back to a previous snapshot when it was working and remake the changes one by one and see which one caused the problem. Have you created any custom variables recently?

Hi, thanks for this. purging, compacting, and changing the cgi number. followed by a refresh site solved the problem. many thanks again.

Glad you got it sorted Austin. Quite often one of those or a combination of a couple will sort things out.
