Clearing Coupon code

Hi,

When a customer adds a coupon code to their order, how do you get rid of that code entry once it has been used so they will have to re enter it every time they use it?
I added a code and whilst testing it (which it worked fine) i found that i cant get rid of the discount when i use the site. I have tried cleaing the internet temp files and restarting, but its still there.

Any ideas?

in the past i have entered codes that dont exist and this seems to do the trick
