    Event website ... possible?

    Hi everyone,

I'm only on my second site with Actinic, so apologies for my lack of knowledge.

I've searched the forum but can't seem to find a specific answer to these questions (not that is less than 3 yrs old anyway)

I've been asked to build a website that a client can use to sell tickets to 10 different events. These events run for most of the year.

The client imagines the process as this:

    Customer selects event >
chooses date from a calendar >
price is displayed (price is date specific, i.e off-season = cheaper) >
    selects number of tickets >
    completes payment >
e-Ticket is automatically emailed to them with a unique ID number.

So I guess the questions are:

1: Is there a calendar function in Actinic that will allow you to do this, and also set different prices for different times of year.

2: Can Actinic generate e-tickets (vouchers) that have an automatically generated ID number and email them to teh customer (or even email them a link for download)

If Actinic can't do this, maybe there are some plugins? Has anyone seen a similar site made in Actinic?

Thanks in advance for any help / advice.

no, all you can do is create a product for each event

actinic will generate an email with an order number, or you can use digital download

not that i am aware of, i'd look at other packages before progressing with actinic

Ok - that's kind of what I figured, but I just wanted to double check, before I started looking elsewhere..

      Thanks for your help.
