    Website Stats

    Im currently using google analtics for stats right now. Has anyone any good expreience of using other stats like onestats or saletrack? Just deciding on what we should use. Be grateful for any pointers.

    I'm sure this may have been covered before, but I can't for the life of me find the thread. If I find it I'll post.

    Having said that GA is a very powerful tool, there's an awful lot of info provided for free.

    Also, quite often your host call provide metrics too...

      Web Statistics Tool

      I too tried searching but to no avail. I use GA now but had a free trial with a company which showed different results. I would have carried on using the company but the price was a tad high.

        Most stats will show different results as each one makes a decision as to what they perceive to be the info you want to know.

        Dont over analyse differences - it will drive you mad Its best to choose one and stick with it.

            Thats right..your never gonna get matching results from 2 stat programmes. GA however does not show stuff like ip addresses, how many people are on site at certain time, repeat ppc ip addresses ect ect. Busiest times of day in detail. GA is fantastic for what it costs (free) but we all know pinbrook...you gotta pay for something good.

              We use www.whoson.com , a UK company for stats, GA for the ecommerce side of things.
