Index variables

Back again with another newbie questions

I gather actinic has TWO index pages:

1 - the website home index
2 - the catalogue home index

Using variables to insert the correct http link in the nav, could you tell me which is for 1 and which for 2?

Trying them out in preview mode is driving me nuts and I can't figure out which is which.

eg: WebSiteULR, CatalogURL seem the most obvious ones but don't work in preview mode for me.

Then there is CatalogHomeURL, Home, HomePageURL ......

Can't figure out what the difference is between all of these and where go to:

WebSiteURL =
CatalogURL =
CatalogHomeURL =
Home =
HomePageURL =
