Hiding telephone and email in packing list

    Hi

I know this is a problem that has been mentioned in this forum before but I can't find the answer so I am reposting it. I am looking for a way of hiding the telephone and email data from the packing list. Customers are complaining that their details are plainly visible when the folded packing list is used in a delivery envelop. I don't wish to redesign the packing list other than by suppressing these 2 fields and I recollect that someone posted a solution - a modified library available for V8 that sorted this problem. Is this library available for V9 and if so, where can I get it?

    Many thanks

    Ron

You need a copy of Crystal Reports V8.5 (available on ebay occasionally) or employ the services of Duncan Rounding (drounding) or Jan at Mole End.

yes, annoyingly, this is something you can't do within Actinic.
You have to wonder about that, tbh. You'd think these display fields should be controllable through Design > Text by now so we could choose which fields to display and have some control over our packing lists/invoices etc

Unsurprisingly, Actinic never seem to comment when we ask about this!

See attached for v902 - should work for later versions also.

** Backup your original first and use at your own risk.

Actually its Duncan who is the best contact for crystal reports.

I dont think Norman does it at all.

I have corrected by original post.
I have confused the two in the past and I'm sure will muddle them up in the future.

                ahhh...Norman/Duncan confusion!

You can sympathise with that, can't you, Jan? *sniggers*
