Wrong download on order

Hi can any one help me please.

When customers order one of my products and I send them the download link - the link on the download is for one of my other products.

Can anyone help me as to where to look to change or fix this please - I have checked that these two products have different product number IDs.

This problem has only started happening since adding new products and it is one of the new products that is being substituted for the other product.

I would check that they have different product references.

The product that was ordered has product reference 5 and the one that is link to the download has a product reference number 50

Ok. I've no idea what's caused this.

What I would do is:

1. Compact database.
2. Update the site and place a test order to see if it's fixed.

If that doesn't work, I'd then:

3. Change the product reference to another number
4. Update again, place another test order.

If that doesn't fix it then I'd chase actinic support.

I was about to say that. Not copying/pasting products without editting the download file?

Hi yes they do have different download products - the No. 5 has been there for some time now and the 50 was uploaded new a few weeks back

By the way how do I change the product reference to another number if this does not work - just compacted and now uploading
