editing in dreamweaver ???

Hi people,

Im trying to edit some parts in dreamweaver cs4 - which ive never attempted.

Ive installed the dreamwever/actinic link.

but when i click "edit in dreamweaver" it looks like the attached image, this is also the when i try to preview it in explorer...

is this right or am i doing something wrong ??

Yes that's perfectly normal, you won't get a useful preview in dreamweaver as it has no idea what actinic is effectively, it's just showing you the code in place. You'll be infinitely better fiddling around on the design tab instead, DW is only really good for doing the outer layout and applying that, once you've done that, inside of actinic on the design tab is far more intuitive.

Actinic contains special tags that are not understood in standard html. I (and I think many others) only create the outer layouts in DW and then register them in Actinic, after that changes are made directly in the Actinic GUI.

Also make sure you have your DW site set as the same directory as the Actinic Site1.
