    Double Shipping Qty

I'm currently working on a website at the moment; http://www.vendula.co.uk/
and with certain items the shipping charges double at the checkout - i.e. the shipping charges are set to £3 or £3.50, but it says £6 or £7 at the checkout.

Does anyone know why this may be? Shipping Quantity is set to 1 in each product by the way.

Components in the mix or not? example product?

Both with and without components. I think it applies to every item on the site actually, or at least those I've looked on.

If there is nothing silly set in the shipping by mistake, i think the site probably needs a database compact and a refresh.

I've tried doing that as well, but unfortunately to no avail. Perhaps maybe if I try setting the shipping qty to 0 and see what that does?

Is it on multiple purchases only, does a single product purchase not do it?

Have you set Shipping in Business Settings / Zone Class tables to be by Quantity? Seems likely to me.

Quantity set to 1 is a setting in business settings, i get charged £3 on a single purchase, so almost certainly the shipping is setup incorrectly, in fact i'd put my house on it. It will be either the optimum package weight or the shipping grid that is wrong.

Order Quantity Always 1 is unticked in the business settings. The Shipping is set to quantity as the delivery should be either £3 or £3.50 per item. Could it somehow be adding the options as 1 product?

1 item charged me £3, 2 items wanted to charge me £9. Something weird on shipping or maybe the component shipping rules?

Yes, that's what I've found too. What's the component shipping rules?

I can't recall exactly but there are checkboxes where you set what settings the associated product (if that's what you have) are to take, sure there's one on shipping, another on tax etc.
