V9 Site Wont show upload window - yet I can still access menu while it's trying too

Hi.

I've created a NEW version 9 website for a client based on an Actinic V7 site which I initially upgraded from V8 and then V9.

The problem I have is I've imported the network settings file from a V7 site, and since doing so the site will no longer upload. All I get is a busy icon but no upload dialogue box, yet I can still access the Actinic menu.

I know this is a known bug that can occur from time to time, and I have experienced it once before, but I can't remember how I resolved it and wondered if anyone has experienced the same issue and could refresh my memory? From what I remember I think the network settings have to be reset in Actinic?

Export the current network settings and then try importing a known test set and start the upload, then stop the upload, re-import the old settings and hopefully it will be ok again.

Thanks for the suggestion, but sadly already tried that and it didn't work

Thing going to call it a day and ask Actinic Monday. I think there's some script they have that can clear the settings

Sorted issue.

Was advised by Actinic Technical support to open Database and delete all the records in the MergeFileState table. This has fixed the issue.

Should anyone read this posting for a similar issue in the future, remember to make a backup of your site first. And only open the database when Actinic is closed.
