After five years of using Actinic I decided to stop working with this software. The decision has nothing to see with the software’s qualities, but my site required some specifications that I cannot have (or with difficulty) on Actinic. (For example creating a customer account online, easier checkout, payment system adapted to French banks, add to whish list, live chat etc.)
So I changed my software and opted for another software (when I write the name, it doesn't appear !).
Leaving this forum I would like to thank everyone who helped me many times. Without this help the site could not exist and could not work properly.
I can not mention everyone, but I would like to thank especially Duncan Rounding, Tracey Garrett, Malcolm Stubbs, Mike Hughes, Lee Hackett, Norman Rouxel, Gabriel Crowe, Jonty John, Chris Dicken, Fergus Weir, Darren B, Jo Morecroft, Bruce King, and of course Bill Campbell.
Sorry for all the ones I forget on this list.

ps i have been doing exactly the same today, a new inhouse system that could mean ecommerce side will be changed to something completely different, fully intergrated with the option on single page checkout. The best bit i can look at the baskets of shoppers that dont complete and also take this into an order when they ring up to ask rather than them have to complete online.

It is a new ecommerce sofware from USA, downloaded more than 1 000 000 times, with more than 1300 extensions.
