    Or if they're all using the default layout (you'll see Use Parent in the Layout field), simply set that in Settings / Site Options / Layout.

        Ah. You didn't say that until now. And you've not said how you can tell one lot from the other.

        Investigate changing the layout at Section level as this will change all products in that and lower sub-sections.

        Doing this by tinkering with the database is very risky unless you have a perfect understanding of what you're doing.

          Thanks for your help folks.

          Decided its easier to plod through the 300 ish products and change them manually!
          Shame, I was hoping to get to grips in more detail with the manipulation of the database.

            Hmmmm, yes, have just discovered that Fragments are stored in the product table with a numerical product reference.

            Just so happens that some fragments have bagged the auto-generated (also numerical) product references from my stock control database.

            Looks like I have to rethink my in-house SKU system.
