Problem with sites folder using vista 64bit

Hi, After upgrading from Windows xp to Vista 64 bit I installed Actinic 8.5.1 into the Prgram files folder and are now having problems saving images into a folder i created within the site 1 folder.
If saving directly from Paint into the folder it says that i am not allowed.
I was told that with Vista i can install Actinic in Documents, if i do this can i use the snapshot feature to import / load my site when it was previously created from the site within Program files.
If this does work will the images appear as before.
Please help as not sure if this is the best way to solve this issue or not.
    Regards
    Peter

If you've put your Sites folder within Program Files you will have trouble. Within My Documents would be a better solution.

    This http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=30219 post will explain.

Good luck. I missed your other question regarding whether the images will come over into the relocated site.

The answer is that they should, especially if you've already got them within the existing Site folder; which it sounds like you have.

Actinic V9 can relocate the Sites folder for you (at least my 9.0.5 can).

Create a new folder in My Documents called say "Actinic v9 Sites".

Then in Actinic, go to File / Sites / Sites Directory and browse for the new location. OK and you should be done.

This won't help if you're using V8 but may be useful for V9 users with the same problem.
