    Add to Cart isn't displaying on products

    Hi,

    I've scoured the forums, help topics and the rest of the web for an answer to this problem and can't seem to find anything that works.

    My site is not yet on a fully functioning server and currently just resides on my own PC while it's being built. The products I'm adding do not have the add to cart option. The option 'Can be ordered online' is ticked, there is a price listed, the 'Product visible' box is ticked. The buyer will have two price options on every product - maybe I've done something wrong there?

    The only thing I can think of is that the option to add to cart doesn't display because it's not running on a server - could that be correct?

    A couple of things to check
    In Settings > Business Settings > Ordering
    do you have "Allowed" ticked and "Suspended" UNticked?

    Have you been editting product layouts at all? If so, maybe you've removed the relevent code for the button?
    Use the 'compare with original' facility in the Design Library, if you can, to check.

      Thanks for your reply. I have allowed ticked and suspended unticked yes. I'll try your tip about comparing the template I wasn't aware of that function - thank you.

        I use the Product Name and Description product layout and whilst it shows lots of modifications it shows no missing information. Back to square one!

          have you made sure your stock in hand value for each product you want an add to cart button for is set to 0 in your csv file.
          it is not anything to do with your site not being on a server yet.
