Cancel page goes to same page as successful order

Hi there,

When a customer makes a successful order, they are redirected to my 'Thank you' page.

However, when they cancel at any point in the checkout process, they are directed to the same page.

How can I get the cancel button to take them to my chosen cancel.htm.

This problem was solved in the past here:

But that was version 8, and with PayPal.
I now have version 9 and PayPalPro.

Does anyone know how I can do it now?

Aborted checkout page is defined in design > design options i think.

Yes that is correct, but that is one page for both aborted and successful.

The solution earlier gives you separate options, and I'm hoping someone can tell us how to do it with v9 and PPP.

As an aside: Isn't it odd to go to the same page after orders that were successful as for orders that were cancelled? I do accept that I'm a novice so I may not realise something.

ah yes sorry, that does both, i remember now you've said it. It's reasonably logical i guess, both situations probably need to take you back to where you first started. You shouldn't really be installing Paypal Pro anyway, read up on PCI DSS and the plethora of threads on the subject. Short of it, choose a different PSP.
