Fixing the bust Section lines is very important. If there's an error in such lines then all sub-sections and products below these duff sections are omitted from the import. So a few missing top-level section images and you import nothing.

Another area where deleting the entry might be useful is if Section or Product layout are defined. These could be a relic of an old installation with no modern counterparts. Delete the names and Actinic will use the default layouts.

A *BIG* problem is that the vast majority of the images were living in various places on the customers hard drive, i.e. some in My Documents, some in My Pictures, others even on the desktop. I always thought you had to keep the images together with the SITE folder.

yes they do
