Site does not stay logged in

Working on a client's site, with a custom template. We can login via the login link in the footer (username: angela, password: cyprus) and it will stay logged in for a bit, but if I go back to the store top and carry on browsing, you are effectively logged out and cannot see alt pricing.

It's almost certainly something I've left out, just not sure what. The url is www.noli.com Be glad of any help on this one.

Safari and Firefox, but I believe it does it in IE too. I'll post a screengrab of how a product page should look when logged in

I reported this as a bug many months ago and Actinic told me should be fixed in the next release - it wasn't so I ended up removing the link to the home page to stop people getting logged out.

I think I'm correct in saying that when you log in, everything then goes through bb00000x.pl and that all internal links are handled by the script so you get a long url composed of the bb script and the page you are navigating to.... unless the link you click on is hardcoded. Then you are taken directly to the page and effectively logged out - except you can of course use the back button and then you are back inside the bb script.

At least, that's the way it looks to me but I could be very wrong.
