section not updating after refresh

Hi Me again,

I have amended some text on a section and refreshed the site.

It shows the changes in the page preview pane and also on a preview current page in Int Explorer. Yet it will not change after refresh. I have purged and refresh, compacted database, and also changed another section and uploaded which worked.

Any Clues (please be kind!)

Clear the browser cache on your PC?

if not, post a link to a page not updating and tell us what it should say - if it were updated

this is the page that wont work. The text underneath the picture i changed and then totally deleted so it should just show the picture.

It looks like just my homepage aint loading, the new products are missing on the upload but they are there in actinic preview.

when you go to a section, the new products are there! so just the home page

Cleared cache, still the same..

Could you post a screen shot of what it looks like in the preview so we are clear of the differences.

i am currently using gotomypc to access the catalog and i cant get the screenshot to work.

basically it is the same but without any text under the cylinder picture.

I will try when i am in the office.

yes this is the section header i have amended. i have taken away the text and it shows it done on the preview etc but it will not show after refreshing.

i have reloaded the page /cleared the cache etc

Just so I am 100% clear, can you confirm that the text I have highlighted with a red cross in the revised attached image is the text you are referring to (and should not be there).

no - these are the sub sections that have not been changed.
The picture at the top as you can see it now has text with it.
i have amended this to image only and deleted the text and refreshed

I do not see any other text under the image only to the left, which I thought was what you wanted to appear online.

sorry - yes the text to the left - i have deleted that - you are not thick - look at my last posts it is me that is thick
