Unable to locate the database for the selected site

Ok, here's the problem. I recently had a motherboard failure which took an age to diagnose, in the process of the machine was replaced and now the hard drive from my old machine is sat as a secondary hard drive in my new machine.

I've reinstalled actinic onto my new machine and tried copying the folders across so that all my old data is in the relevant locations, however i'm receiving the following error when trying to open actinic :

"Unable to locate the database for the selected site. The site will remain unchanged"

As a last resort I do have a backup but it is months old and I've done a lot of work on the site since then. Please could somebody help me move the data across my my old drive to the new one ? I'm assuming / hoping it's just looking in the wrong place for the data.

    Thanks
    Simon

Try this: Restore the earlier snapshot and close Actinic and then copy over the contents of the Site1 folder.

Is it possible that you defined different locations for the site folder when you installed Actinic originally and on the latest PC (ie first in program files, then in my documents, or vice versa):

Your sites folder will probably be in Documents and settings / all users/ Shared documents/actinicv9

That is outside of the program files actinicv9 program files

Only applies I think to V9
