I think the point is that, despite being a web designer, the guy wants to become 'professional' with Actinic too.
TBH, if you're already a "fully qualified" web designer, you've done the hard bit.
Get into V9's design tab on some demo sites.
See how Actinic 'builds' the pages
    Experiment!

Break a few and fix a few.

There's no real shortcut. You'll just have to get down and dirty with it until you have enough hands-on experience behind you.

Designer clothing London was designed by MediaMole though. I'm getting confused now.

*mumbles something about smoke and mirrors*
I guess the guy didn't design it but helped with SEO and such other skills

It might not be the same guy, who knows. Like Tracey says if you're fully qualified designer then applying that knowledge to actinic is relatively straight forward, you already know the hard bit.

If you're a designer who knows nothing about actinic, why not come on and say so, why use the client and 'designer costs' angle, not sure why you'd do that. All seems a little underhand but i can see for no real reason why, maybe just wants to gauge what designers charge?

no good asking Lee what designers charge.
None of US can even afford him

Cashdown started this viscious rumour (i've never even quoted the miserable sod), which i refute wholeheartedly . My costs are reasonable, a remortgage and a severed right leg are usually enough to afford my services.

I disagree, the States has some rather affluent areas.

I no longer have any arms or legs left with which to pay, a heating engineer is now the proud owner of two limbs and the other limbs were required when paying the gas and electric bills this year. Do you accept internal organs as part payment?

I would second the motion to just get the sites up and running with a nice looking standard design and start earning money and rateings on google, then when you really know what you want to achieve get adjusting them slowely or pay a designer to do it for you

Me the misrable sod ! he said he was leaving this forum and we were all happy, then he came back

Orders increased substantialy after re-design with less people dropping out and bounce rate of about 10-12% over a long period
