Can't you just view source on your pages?

There does seem to be two occurances - one just after saveReferrer() inside the head tag - and another after the close of the head tag (</head>)

I'd wager it's facebook and the video on your home page that's slowing everything down.

They are also pushing any product viewing below the fold on my laptop. I'd rethink the home page if I were you.

Although your layout is referencing act_section_tree.js twice it will only load once. That said it is large at almost 850kB.

The primary layouts are no longer in Site1 folder but in the Design menu > Library > Web Page Outer. Find out first what layout you are using under Settings > Site Options > Layouts tab > Site. You have to find the code between the <head> and </head> tags in the primary layouts which is creating the act_section_tree.js

How old are your menu files?. Your error is "addEvent is not defined". The file listmenuactivate.js is referencing "addEvent" and the file fsmenu.js is referencing "fsmAddEvent", these do not match up, I compared to a site with the same menu system where they do match up and yours doesn't. This sometimes happens if you already using those Javascript files in your site and don't overwrite them when copying in the plugin files and end up with different versions. In any case, it may be best to use the most up to date Javascripts for the plugin and if you are using the Javascripts for other functions on your site already check they will still work.

Thanks for the advice re the homepage, Its being re-worked at the moment.

Thanks for the help Louise, I will look in the suggested location for the section_tree files....Once I�ve found the layout I�m using how do I go about reducing the file size or getting rid of it ? (Sorry for being so naive! Even though I�ve had Actinic for many years, this is the first time I have had to deal with these kinds of issues...)

With regards to the listmenuactivate.js error.....
I think the menu files are very old, the sit has been upgraded over the years from version7! I don�t really understand about plugin files? How do I know if im using 2 different versions?

You are using inline styling to control the img size. So although your images are appearing smaller, they still have their original size. Optimising your images will negate the need for inline styles and reduce page size.

Your Jamie Lynn Snowboard Boots are 75px wide on your site, but the image is actually 336px wide with a file size of 82.87 kB (84854 bytes)

It's a vast improvement but the page size is still over1.5Mb. You images on the page are just over 1Mb still.

Try optinising further on the larger images, see attached.
