Tax exempt box

Hi There,

My client had an order placed on his website from Denmark yesterday, and the customer clicked the Tax exempt box but my client said when he downloaded the order he did not see the Tax number. I did a test myself and when I clicked the Tax exempt box it prompted me for a number before I could go to the next payment stage.

So does anyone know how the customer got away with it?

I'm not sure that the contents you add are checked so could you just add a 'space' character in, thus putting something in but also making it look blank?

Thanks Lee I did a test and tried adding spaces and that didn't work and then I tried a full stop and it let me past that stage, do you know if there is anything available which would check a Tax number?

It's not an area i know a lot about Angi, i believe there is a register to check a number against, i'm not sure if this is ever done online though. From what i gather people check against it once they get the order (as they have to fill out paperwork anyway) and just reject the order if bent or dodgy.
