I've got around 3,000 products I want to add to my site that I have on various spreadsheets. The quickest way to import these seems to be to export the current site as a CSV file and add them in and then reimport it to update with the additional products.
I've exported the products (as Text - Comma Delimited) to a CSV and then added the new products into new rows under existing categories. Nothing else changed. When I go back into import I get this error:
There is a syntax error in the Header directive at line 1. The error reported is: Typo error: Wrong delimiter.
I haven't even touched line one of the CSV file.
If I export and then re-import without making any changes it works.
I read about not being able to use Excel 2007 to edit the file as I was getting a different error but I am now using Microsoft Works Spreadsheet to do it.
Can anyone help?
