No control over, best sellers, new products or related products

Hi all,
Within Actinic (9.0.2.0.0.0.lFZA) we no longer have any control over displaying best sellers, new products or related products. All marketing options are enabled but none of the lists are populated with any of our products - see attachments.

I've checked the usual guides and the community, compacted the database, purged content, restarted etc with no joy. I thought it might be related to issues with the product ref, though this is set to auto and always has been.

Recently we've added lots of new products, copying and pasting products to form the basis of another. We've also hidden products that we can't currently supply and the catalog has grown in terms of the number of sections and sub-sections.

The site isn't currently live, I'm working locally. We have two other site licenses and these are working normally.

Wondered if anyone else had encountered this or had any ideas?

Related products are input manually.

Upgrade to 905, 902 was a bit of a shocker.

On new products have you clicked generate now and the products that you think should fill in fit within the parameters you can see set on screen ie the 90 days?

You also have to untick "lock" otherwise they will always stay locked at "unused" as per you current settings and never change.

Firstly thanks for the speedy response Lee, appreciated.

Yes I've clicked generate now - products have been added within the last few days so the 90 day option should be fine but none are available in the slots.

As for related products many were already setup for existing products - these remain though I no longer have the option to swap to a different product and have no choices available with new products - as per one of the attachments.

I'll backup and give the upgrade a go in the first instance.

Jonty's advice is also key, you've glued them in place, they won't move with that set.

Unchecked the locked checkboxes and clicked generate, I now have products in three slots, great. I've also tried with 6 slots and it works but if I click the the dropdown no other products are available to me - as per attachment -there should be loads that I can choose between.

I'll try the update as Lee suggested too.

You have to click on search to get the product list up.

I think in the past as we only had a few products set to be included in automatic lists they were displayed within the dropdown, now that there are lots we need to use the search option.
