I'd imagine they'd say upgrading to the latest maintenance release is the fix.

It's your choice, but you will be importing a buggy snapshot into the new release, whcih could create more problems.
V9.05 Will fix this bug from what I gather:

Here http://community.actinic.com/showthr...518#post275518 is the post where the problem (at least with variables on Choices) was reported fixed in 9.0.4.Norman - www.drillpine.biz

I am afraid that 9.05 may not solve your problem as I have the same problems with the latest version. I only ever get two rather than three showing up and they always show for variables related to fragments. Deleting
the variAble then adding it again seems to
solve it but as you say, it can be a couple of weeks before you notice.

I presume you mean that upgrading didn't fix the existing duplicated items. In that case it may be necessary to send your database (via a Snapshot) to Actinic for analysis (and hopefully fixing).
If you can cause the problem to reappear in 9.0.5 when you create some new variables then that would be bad news. Best tested on a clean V9.0.5 site of course as some problems may be carried in with a corrupt database.
There must be plenty of people who create Variables but there's not a lot of noise on the Forum about the problem you're seeing. Weird, eh?Norman - www.drillpine.biz
