multi site question

Im using Actinic multi site to create two sites, I`ve nearly finished the first and just wanted to find out how to create a second site and access it to start adding items.

In Actinic go to File - Sites... Licence New Site

you should also be able to cut and paste between sites if required

If you use the same user names and passwords for both sites, when you change between sites it does it without stopping to ask for a new password and saves pulling out hairs on your head if you do it many times a day

I have a site up and running that is made using Actinic 6, the second site Im making using Actinic 8 is going to be a copy of the A6 site. I was wondering if there is an easy way to transfer the items in A6 to A8?

People do this in different ways but you could...

1 . Export your v6 site catalog, import it into v8 and debug the errors.

or

2. Snapshot the v6 site and import into v8 (or copy the database into v8) and let the upgrader do its job - don't wory about the design at this stage - then export the v8 catalog. Now on a new default site in v8 import the v8 export just created and then work in your design.
