The description is quite detailed, but it's really only three simple steps:
1. Enter the words 'IP address' into an actinic field.
2. Copy and paste a line of code into another actinic field.
3. Open a script file, find a line and overwrite it by copying and pasting a few lines of code.
Then update the website.

Thanks for the response, sorry I'm not a techy but can you mock me further please as not sure you have patronised me enough yet. I love the fact that unless you are a full blown techy you get a response like above. leehack....I'm still I'm really confused about why you would mock a potential customer, or have a missed a marketing lesson somewhere.

Hi
I'm sorry you feel patronised.
If you're going to run a web store using Actinic, and are handling the maintenance of it yourself, then you need to be able to do basic things such as that mentioned in the KB link above.
I am not a techie person, beyond what I need to know to keep my sites running. I've used the KB on numerous occasions to tweak things and have only found it clear and easy to follow.
As Mike says, take it in stages and it will work. I know it does because I've done this particular hack myself in the past.
Regards,
Jules

Christianne, please don't forget that it was you that made a lazy initial post.
You'd already found some pertinent KB advice but didn't bother to tell us that. Thus Mikes time in locating and pointing out the relevant article was completely wasted.
Not the way to endear yourself to highly skilled people who've positively contributed between them tens of thousands of times. Truly, they're the ones you want to keep onside as it's where the best advice comes from.
I often see that there is a very close correlation between the shortness of an initial post and the poster expecting far more than they deserve.Norman - www.drillpine.biz
