Brochure Nav Bar in Boxes - horizontal?

I've set the nav bar layout for the brochure pages to Brochure Nav Bar in Boxes in a site I'm working on, but I need it to be horizontal, not vertical. The site is at http://002.artinet.co.uk/ for the moment.

From some threads I've found here, and from the many css tutorials I've seen, it seems the key is to change display: block; to display: inline; but that makes no difference.

Is this possible, and if so, can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Rather than try and convert the actinic offering, create your own. There's a block from which you can create the brochure page UL, you can then style it following one off the tutorials. Trying to work with the standard lists which aren't coded great anyway is just problematic imo, I always do my own instead. I've never used 'inline', always a float left for me. If you get stuck, show us what you have so far and we can help you fix that.

Excellent suggestion, Lee, and I found a CSS menu builder at http://www.cssmenumaker.com/ that gave me the basic styles etc.

It works fine in IE but in Firefox there are bullets showing and a space above the menu items. Firebug shows this space as being <ul id="menu">, although the style has the line list-style: none;, isn't this supposed to stop the bullets from showing?

I've also changed the positioning in the style menu a to float: right; to put the menu on the right but, while it's the only style change that puts the menu in the right place, it's had the effect of listing the buttons in reverse order!
