    Hierarchical File Converter

    Hi

I see that there is now a "Flat File Converter" included in the Actinic folder with V9.

This is great and very useful.

What would be even better would be to have a "Hierarchical File Converter" as well (i.e. a program to convert a hierarchical export file into a flat file).

I'm surprised that Actinic haven't made one available.

Has anyone out there developed such a tool? If so, I'd love to get my hands on a copy and I'm willing to pay for the privilege.

Are Actinic planning to develop one?

    Many thanks

Converting FF to HF is quite straightforward but HFs can contain more configuration than is supported in FFs so going that way around is not always possible - hence the need to use them.

Using HFs is not difficult once you grasp how the headers and data content structure is organised and is worth the effort of getting to grips with.
