Interaction between Actinic 9 and Dreamweaver

I have been having problems trying to use Dreamweaver to edit some content of a web site that is already done inside of Actinic.
The website files are in a server. Even tough I have access to the server, when I hit the button to edit contents in Dreaweaver, none of the images appear on dreaweaver.
Probably I have to give some instructions to Dreamweaver oir Actinic, but I have gotten lost.
Any help you be great.

You can't work on an actinic site via the server, you need to work within the application itself. Actinic creates static html files and is a desktop application, drop any ideas of working on the server, it would all get overwritten the next time the application uploaded the website. Work on the 'design' tab to make changes, that's your best place for the time being.

I think I have not been very clear, I am sorry.
I am not talking about the web server.
When I tell server, I am talking about a computer that we have in our office, that we use to keep all files related to our website. It is a computer used just to keep all files in one single place.
I have another computer that has Actinic and Dreamweaver installed on it.
If you can help on that I would appreciate it.

When you click edit in dreamweaver, you will not see any images apart from those in the overall layout, it just provides you with the code for the layout you chose to edit. Use the design tab instead, it's just easier and less problematic.
