Discount from older clients

Hello all. I would like to have some type of discount on a product, but unsure on how to do this. We have users who bought our product some time ago - now theres a new version of it. We would like to be able to create some type of discount for user who bought an older version of the product (going to send out emails to) and can therefore purchase the new version of it, but in a cheapr price than nornal. I think the only way to do this, would the user to have some type of code somewhere - although i have no idea how you can do this (if its possible, checked thro Marketing - Discount and Surcharges Settings etc).

I think you might need Actinic 'Business' for discounts. I'm not sure if it's in 'Catalog'.

If you do have the feature, you need to create a group of discounted products (in this case just the one product), set the discount you're offering and create the voucher code.

Failing that create a page with this product on, make it an orphan page on your site and send people directly to that where the price is different. Only people contacted would know the page's whereabouts.
