60 Items in the Basket!

My product is sold per several mtrs for an individual item.

The problem with this is that if a customer chooses two items at 30mtrs long each the 'quick overview of the cart' which shows on the product pages shows 60 items in the basket! Which looks a little odd.

Can I change this to show the number of individual products and not the total length of all the quantities chosen ?

Not without significant tricky Perl patching.

If everything you seel is by the metre, change "items" to "metres".

Or delete that line and just show the total value.

Not everything I sell is per mtr therefore I think I will go with deleting that line and just showing the total.
