business plus v9 meta keywords and description not generating automatically

i have purchased business plus v9 and actinic advertised that it automaticaly generate meta tags but mine is not i have imported my products through import file in actinic can anyone advice me an easy way to import meta key word and description to all sections.

You can import the section page meta tag data by using either a flat file or hierarchical file import. See: C:\Program Files\Actinic v9\Original\Common\SampleFlatImportFile.csv for an example of a flat file format.

but how can u determine which section will take which meta description in flat file

The flat file has a line per section.

Here's a very simple example of the top line and next line for one section...

Section text,SectionDescription,Section meta description,Section meta keywords
Books,This section contains some basic products without any options.,meta description,meta keywords

i have tried to import in a same way u mentioned above
my file is something like that

i have section text as follow

Alfa Romeo | Alfa Romeo 33 | Year: 01/90 - 11/94| Engine Size: 1186cc

if i try to upload meta key words and description it goes to the end section which is |Engine Size: 1186cc.

so how can i give different meta tags to different section or atleast first two sections e-i, Alfa Romeo | Alfa Romeo 33 |.
i tried to import full file and then just import meta tags for first section as an update but this way it creates another section called Alfa Romeo with meta tags.

If these are your sections then to set the metas on each of them you would need the following lines:

Alfa Romeo....
Alfa Romeo | Alfa Romeo 33....
Alfa Romeo | Alfa Romeo 33 | Year: 01/90 - 11/94....
Alfa Romeo | Alfa Romeo 33 | Year: 01/90 - 11/94| Engine Size: 1186cc....

hunm.. that would be a loooooot of work to rearrange those sections.

A hierarchical file would be easier to do this. Export your catalog and look at the format. Once you get your head around hierarchical imports you'll see the benefits of that method.
