Problem with 'other info' prompt and existing duplicates

I've tested this in both V9 AND V10 and it seems consistent (in that it ain't workin'!)

Scenario

Product has an existing duplicate

Main product is editted to add an "other info" and/or "date" prompt

Duplicate shows these details but greyed out as they're not modifiable in the duplicate.

Actinic, however, does NOT display these prompts either in an offline preview (as attached) or online.
And it won't allow you to add the duplicate to the cart as it requires details for the missing prompt

I was quite shocked to find this and especially as I can't find any previous reference to it...in V9??

Can anyone confirm this, please?

As I said, it exists in V10 too (and I'll log it on Get Satisfaction forum as such)

Just so you know, this has been confirmed as a bug in both V9 and V10.

Turns out it was fixed in 8.5.1 and then reappeared in V9.

I guess no one has had to add prompts to products with existing duplicates in the last 2 years, eh?!

I just ran into this.

Selecting the main product and clicking the Reset Duplicates button at the bottom of the Product Details pane seems to fix it.
