HELP! Fatal Error - Also Bought

When uploading Actinic I got an error saying

I can see from the progress bar that it is falling down when generating am Also Bought list for a product. Deleting the product, compacting etc has no effect. I do not have a copy of Access to try repairing the dbase. I think I recall reading here somewhere once that there is a free alternative to Access that could be used to repair the dbase?

Any help or advice much appreciated!

Is there really no alternative to MS Access if you want to rebuild your dbase?

Thanks guccij. I have just found that you can try and repair the database using the ODBC Data Source Administrator found in Control Panel. This has not fixed my problem.

It seems that something is wrong with my marketing lists - when I try to generate the 'Also bought' list it falls over at a particular product. Strangely, deleting the product then recreating it does not resolve the problem, but renaming the product does. Unfortunately many products are affected so I cannot simply rename them all.

I don't think the Firewall is an issue - it is producing the critical error when it tries to generate the marketing lists before uploading.

The best thing to do is get in touch with Actinic support and get them to look at the problem.

If you have cover you can phone them, otherwise there's a form you can submit and they'll contact you by email.
