Search & Jump To Completed Order

hi

i may be missing something, but is there a way to search for a completed order and jump staright th that order to view it ?

This is a feature i could really do with and thought it would be a feature actinic had in place, any help appreciated.

p.s Does Ver 10 have this if ver 9 doesn't?

It is an existing feature for V9.

On the tool bar there is an edit box, to the left of it are two icons, a pair of glasses and a tick box. Type in your order number and click on the glasses and it will be opened.

Just wondering is there a way of actually searching the in theat box without the order number? using customers name or postcode etc?

We need to beable to jump to customers order quickly if we have them on the phone, having multiple search string would be great feature.

Jan - would be a great add on to see all customers previous invoices andf be able to jump straight to them etc - bit like a simple CRM system, as i find the marketing tools built into business plus a bit naff really!

There is a search available by pressing CTRL F

It's a bit fiddly though but, in the absence of a full order number (to use the main search/jump-to box) is about as good as it gets!

You can do most of what you want with my One Stop Order Processing add-on, you can find more details and a free trial here :

V10 has a quick find tab that lets you type in a word and listed orders that match, you can select the fields to match on.

Enterprise has a filter option but I don't much like it myself, it's quite fiddly to use, it's like the standard find option but orders are filtered so that only those that match the search are shown.
