    Setting up GA Goal Funnels

Hi, can anybody help with this one?

I'm trying to set up a goal funnel in analytics to track cart/checkout abandonment. I have the goal page set as /receipt.html but I'm not sure how to set goal steps (e.g. track at which stage of the checkout customers are dropping out), or if this is possible with Actinic?

Has anybody else got this set up? Any help and advice will be much appreciated.

    Cheers

    Hi Alex,

I have previously posted the Actinic code I use for tracking progress through each of the checkout pages, see post #9 of this thread: http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=45886

You then need to log into your Analytics account go to the goal funnels set-up pages and enter a few page names.

      Hey Darren

that's great thank you...it was the constant URL throughout the checkout process (/cgi-bin/os000001.pl) that was throwing me.

Why aren't the blockifs (assigning the trackable page name) already built into Actinic - it seems bizarre that they aren't.

      Thanks again!
