Help on data feeds

We're looking at integrating our site into a manufacturers data streams, allowing us to effectively "dropship" via our site. We're running V9, business and manufacturers requirements are feeds in either mdb, csv or dbf format. They require an XML file sento them via the site on an order.
Question is, before I dig too deep into this, is it possible or so complicated that will cause either massive problems or I need deep pockets. Any advise would be appreciated.

You can export orders in several ways :

1) Use the order export option in Actinic (you have to enable this in Actinic business settings before you can use it).

This will give you a set of CSV files, some with a single line per order (order.csv for example) and some with more than one (orderline.csv for example).

2) Use SQL in the database to build a query that gives you the information you need and then export the query results to CSV.

3) Use my One Stop Order Processing plugin to export data. You can use this to build a customised export format and then you can filter the orders you want to export and click on a button to export them. Once it's setup, it's simple to export different sets of orders.

I forgot to say as well that our sister company integrated labels has a program that you can use with Actinic and other selling channels that has a drop shipping module build in, you can find more details for that one and a free trial here :

The difference between this program and the Actinic version of the program is that orders are transferred out of Actinic when you use the multi channel program and so changes made are not reflected back into Actinic but with the Actinic version, the same database is used and so it is fully integrated.

The drop shipping functionality isn't available in the Actinic version but it will be at some point in the future.

If you have a license for the Actinic version, you can also use it with the multichannel version.
