partial import from spreadsheet

I've been assuming that it's possible to populate part of a catalogue by import from a spreadsheet while leaving the rest unchanged. Is that the case?

I tend to work on unreasonable assumptions when awake!

When importing partial updates always worth duplicating the ActinicCatalog.mdb file for ease or reinstating if it goes South
