Uploading large digital files HELP!!!!

Hi

I am doing a digital products store so i have some very large files to upload for the downloads after the customer has paid.

It would be quicker to upload these files manually but if i do this actinic will not let me put the url in the section for digital download when i am listing a product.

If i upload the files through actinic i will not have a site lol as the site will be uploading for a week.

What is pertintent here is why you can maually upload the files faster with your ftp client than Actinic does/can do.
How do you manually upload, and with what client?

Don't forget you can publish 1 section at a time - as you will most likely be using single product pages you can create a product, add the digital files and upload - the product is live and ready to be purchased in a matter of minutes.
