    Purchase Order????

    Hello folks, just received an order in 'pending' today that's confused me . . . .
    it says full payment received . . . then across to the payment method column it says 'invoice and payment before delivery' ?

    Not come across this one so far and when i looked into the order details, on the 'Misc' tab - PO number has appeared, at least i'm assuming it has because i've never noticed it before . . . . we only have paypal and actinic payments as options and i've tried doing a dummy order on the site to see if i could find HOW this guys even managed to do it but i can't?

    Any clues please, i've looked through business settings and i can't see anything relating to purchase orders.

    It sounds like an order from someone with an account. Quite how that could happen if they're turned off is a bit of a mystery.

      Hello Mike, i did check to see if anyone had created an account in that name or placed an order previously that might have given me a clue but i can't find a thing? I'll double check but i'm sure i'm not going daft . . . . yet

        The only other thing I can think of is that the payment method field in the order file / session file got corrupted. I'd imagine a single bit error could change the payment method from one type to another.

        I'd look in AP and paypal to see if there are any payment details for this order.

          Isn't there an option for that in the list of payment methods? Do you have a link to your site?

            Thanks for the replies and apologies for taking so long to come back to this thread. I've checked paypal and actinic payments and no sign of anything, as i said, in payment details it says full payment received yet there's nothing there when i go into the 'payment details'.

            The option for invoice/payment before delivery isn't enabled on the site, never has been, link below though if you want to check it for yourself, i'll end up calling support but i've been a month or more now trying to sort a paypal script error out with no replies to emails so i'm hoping this is a bogey thay goes away as if by magic . . .
