Not being charged for delivery

For some reason delivery is no longer being charged on all of the products on my site.

Is there any option anywhere that I could of accidental activated/deactivated to cause this?

This is not just on a single product but on them all.

It happened at the same time i removed the HSBC payment method and replaced it with Paypal.

Could that have something to do with it?

There shouldn't be a problem unless you went for paypal pro which would have been a mistake as they aren't pci compliant.

Yes Pay Pal Pro as my client requested it.

I believe I have found a solution though, it involves editing OCCPayPalPro.pl


If this doesn't work, what do you suggest i do to put delivery back on? I'm confused as to why it can just add the 30 pounds onto the total price before it goes to paypal.

Hope your client has very deep pockets. The fines for allowing card data breaches are as much as 25 grand PER CARD

Pay pal express checkout is now configured and delivery charges are still not applied, any ideas?

I think it's the same problem as before. The customer completes checkout on Paypal's website so avoids the shipping selection process. At least Paypal Express is PCI-compliant.

AFAIK the only Paypal Solution worth using is paypal standard.

There should be something in the knowledge base about getting shipping working with the paypal pro / express. (See links below)

Who knows? PPP is not compliant unless you have your own server in a pci compliant DC and very deep pockets to pay for the cost of proving compliance outside using a pci compliant psp, but for some reason Actinic decided to add it as an option.

Same goes for GC. It is a payment option within the software but if you want to use it you can't host with Actinic as they dont provide SSL certs (so you have to go to one of the independant hosts - like us ).

Payment methods need to be left in, so that designers and clients who are 3 or 4 years behind where they need to be with info of the time, are not left high and dry if they upgrade a site. I certainly think they should do more to raise the point on these methods actually within the software though, by putting a bloody large health warning on them.

I'd be intrigued to see what the legal stance would be if a site owner uses a non-compliant method in the latest version of the software and falls foul of a fraud.

I've read about a car company prosecuted and lost the case, when a man challenged that their cruise control documentation did not state you have to leave your hands on the wheel and cannot go and sit in the back of the car during the journey.
