Google Product feed export a link to extended page?

    Hi All

The problem I have is that I have used Extended infomation option and when I have exported the standard Actinic Google Product feed:

    1. The feed can not export a link to the extended information page
    2. The feed also can not export text on extended information page

I found a knowledge base article that shows how to add a variable for all products and include it in the Google feed: http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=44817

But I still can not sort out the link problem and force to export a link to the extended information page.

    Any thought would be appreciated

Selina, I'm just working on the same thing.

At the moment it's looking like I may have to write a separate program to build the Google feed file which links to the extended info pages instead of the sections.

Hopefully someone will come up with a perfect solution!!

If you use my product mash program to produce your google shopping feed you can tick a box to tell it to link to the extended information page instead of the product page.

There are more details and a free trial here :

Jan, thank you for your reply. I have tried your plug in. Yes, it can export the link to the extended page. But still can not export the text on the extended information page. Additionally, I tried to export a Google XML sitemap from your program. It only includes <loc>, no <lastmod>,<changefreq>and <priority>. Is that possible to export these attributes as well?

I've opted to not use the Extended Info panel at all and just put all my info into the standard product info. I've modified the extended info page to show the standard info instead.

I'll probably write my own export program in a while to generate the google products file - at least that's my current thinking.
